Similarly we have designed a Square wave Inverter circuit that is capable of driving 220v device and handles 60 Watt load. This circuit is powered from a DC battery and turn it into AC voltage to power some loads such as lights and other AC elements within the limit of 60 Watts. The circuit is designed to be used with 12v Battery.
The transformer combines both the inverting signals to generate a 220V alternating square wave output. By using a 24V battery, loads up to 85W can be powered, but the design is inefficient. In order to increase the capacity of the inverter, the number of MOSFETS must be increased.
There are four CD4047 inverter circuits that can convert 12V to 220VAC 50HZ, we use IC-4047 for oscillators and transistors drive the transformers to output. We have 4 circuits you can build easily with PCB. This is the inverter 100W circuit, use IC 4047 alike inverter 100W transistor I use MOSFET IRF540 instead Transistor 2N3055.
