According to Solarpack, the new plant will be equipped with 665-Wp solar photovoltaic panels mounted on single-axis tracking systems. Once up and running, San Martin will be capable of producing over 830 GWh of electricity per year. Solarpack expects the plant to become operational in the second quarter of 2025.
Under the PPA, Kallpa will off-take all electricity generated by the San Martin plant, the Spanish solar developer stated. The solar farm site is located in the district of La Joya, Arequipa province. According to Solarpack, the new plant will be equipped with 665-Wp solar photovoltaic panels mounted on single-axis tracking systems.
