The Integrated Battery Cabinet (IBC) systems are housed in single free‐standing cabinets. Two models are available: Model IBC-S (small cabinet) and Model IBC-L (large cabinet). Each model features three battery voltage ranges to meet application run time needs. Up to four cabinets may be daisy-chained together to further extend battery run times.
The battery cabinet external wiring requirements are shown in Tables D and E. NOTE 1:1All specified wire sizes are 90 C rated copper minimum. NOTE 2:Replace with same type and number of original battery. Mixing battery letter designation and or sizes will damage equipment and void warranty.
Refer to the appropriate Powerware 9390 UPS Installation and Operation Manual, as referenced in paragraph 1.6, for UPS cabinet terminal locations. A UPS‐to‐battery wiring harness is supplied inside the first battery cabinet. Use pressure and bus bar terminations, as necessary, for connecting cables between the UPS and battery cabinet.
